As with any and all of my projects I call no less than 7-10 contractors for estimates . I get a broad span of opinions, education and ideas along with prices. I used to pull up in front of my home and hated going in. A million and one memories flooding my head as well as look very dreary!! My front deck was literally breaking and falling apart. As well as my front sidewalk was uneven. So I was very concerned that my mom with balancing issues may fall and get injured. I was also considering removing a tree that was out front. I honestly was questioning myself on that decision initially.However, I'm so very thankful that I did. I was completely unaware of the condition of the tree. Halfway through of the removal. It was shown to me the condition it was in. And it could have fallen and created a massive damage to my home. When AA exteriors LLC Completed the removal.You couldn't even tell there was a tree initially there. Stomp all grinded all of the tree remains completely removed. By doing that, It created a lot more space. Nick asked me, How I wanted the deck designed. My reply was, You're the one that does this for a living....Therefore I gave him free reign How the design should go.I can honestly tell you i'm so thankful that I gave him the option to redesign.I truly believe that I could not have come up with this design.I've learned that, giving your contractor the option of utilizing his imagination & skill set . Is something you simply have to Have trust in !!! It's sincerely something you will not regret !!!My mom always said you get what you pay for!!!In short, A.A Exteriors, Is most certainly a contractor you would want to consider.A decision you most certainly would not regret !!Nick kept in constant communication with me. The job was completed with full detail and professionalism ! Nick & his crew was amazing!! Literally there was nothing I had to clean up. Also, He put down grass seed at the end of the job. Absolutely thrilled with the service provided by AA Exteriors. I worked with Nick (the owner) from the initial design all the way to the final inspection. From start to finish, Nick and his team demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and passion for their work. Communication was excellent. We had a 20+ year old deck that was becoming a safety concern for our family. We needed a complete tear down and rebuild, which is a big project. We lined up over 10 estimates. What quickly became evident is that there is quite a range of prices, expertise, experience, etc. After meeting with so many contractors, we felt like we were becoming quite knowledgeable about decking materials and even Howard County building code. We even had a few contractors who turned down the project due to the lack of access to my backyard (center unit of a townhouse). AA Exterior was my 6th estimate, but quickly became our first choice for the job. From day 1, Nick put me at ease letting me know that I would have no regrets about the deck he would build for us. We knew Nick was going to take care of the job because right off the bat you can tell Nick is truly passionate about building decks. Once we signed the contract, Nick remained in contact with us throughout the project from submission of the architectural drawings to approval of the building permit. We had told Nick our top priorities were durability and stability. Nick went above and beyond building code to deliver on our priorities. Nick and his crew knocked this project out of the park within 5 days from demo to completion. We could not be happier with our deck and really the entire experience we had with AA Exteriors. We have no reservations about recommending AA to friends and family. We will definitely reach out to this company for our future projects. If you're considering a new deck be sure to at least get a quote from AA Exteriors, you won't be disappointed.
My wife and I researched many options before deciding to go with Nick for our deck upgrade. We were not looking for the cheapest, or quickest, rather we were looking for the best. We are thrilled with how our new deck turned out! Nick and his crew clearly take great pride in their work, and are passionate about doing a quality job. The construction of our deck was first class and there was tremendous attention to detail along the way. Nick communicated with us throughout the process from the planning stages to the final nail, in order to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted, while offering his expert opinion on what he thought would turnout the best. During the construction some changes to the original plan had to be made. These adjustments were always clearly explained and typically had to do with safety measures, or unforeseen circumstances. Ultimately, Nick would professionally present the matter and various options to problem solve any hiccups, allowing us to move forward with the project in whatever way we felt most comfortable. Nick did his best to stay on schedule with the project, but uncontrollable factors such as weather caused some minimal delays. Again, Nick communicated anytime he was unable to work due to heavy rain, or extreme heat and he kept us updated on the overall progress & timeline for completion. The final results are awesome! We truly love our new deck! In summary, Nick is very passionate about doing a quality job, and takes extreme ownership & pride in his work. When you go with him, you can be assured that he will go above and beyond to give you the BEST deck possible. He is highly recommended.
These contractors that worked in my backyard did a terrific job on my deck. I wanted it a specific way, and they did it exactly the way I wanted it in a timely matter. I would recommend AA Exteriors LLC for any job that you have. They also took my old deck down and kept my yard very clean for the entire project. Anything you need Nick will make it happen!
We called Nick at AA Exteriors and within that day we had a consultation set up and estimate submitted. Nick was extremely responsive and made sure to communicate every step of the way on our project. He is very knowledgeable in not only the design aspect itself but how to make sure the project will last and be the most useful in future. His eye to create is impeccably. We had our kitchen completely remolded to include a walk in pantry. Nick and his team were professional, timely, cost effective and completed the job within a day or so. I hired Nick for several projects I needed completed on my home in Baltimore (new deck, fencing, siding and interior remodeling). I couldn't be happier with his work on each of them.
